Sound familiar?

Charging at home should not mean an extension lead out of the window.

The socket is too slow

A household socket gives about 10–15 km of range per hour. A full charge takes all night and then some, and the plug runs warm the whole time.

You are not sure your supply can take it

Will the main fuse trip when the oven and the car run together? Do you need a bigger connection? Nobody has given you a straight answer.

7.4, 11 or 22 kW?

Every shop recommends something different. You want the charger that suits your house and your car, not the most expensive one.

What you get

One job, one team, one price.

We size the charger to your supply and your car, fit it properly and leave it working.

  • An Easee Max charger, wall mounted indoors or outdoors, with a Type 2 socket that fits every EV and plug-in hybrid sold in Europe
  • A dedicated circuit from your consumer unit, with its own protection devices
  • Load balancing, so the charger slows down when the house needs the power and the main fuse does not trip
  • Cable routed neatly from the consumer unit to the parking spot
  • Testing and commissioning before we leave
  • The Easee app set up on your phone: start, stop, schedule and see every charge

Installation and setup

from €150 + VAT

On a prepared site. The charger itself is listed separately in your quote.

What changes the price

  • The distance from your consumer unit to the parking spot
  • How the cable runs: along a wall, through a ceiling or in a trench
  • The state of your consumer unit and whether it has room for new protection
  • The charger model and the power your supply allows

You get one figure for charger, materials and labour before anything is booked. The price in the quote is the price you pay.

How it works

Three steps to charging at home.

  1. Send four photos

Your consumer unit with the cover open, the electricity meter, the route from the unit to the parking spot and the spot itself.

  2. Get your firm price

Within one working day: charger, materials and labour in one figure, plus a date for installation.

  3. We fit it and show you

Our team installs, tests and commissions the charger, then sets up the app with you.

Questions

Home charging, answered.

Can I install a charger with a single-phase supply?

Yes. A single-phase supply allows up to 7.4 kW, which adds about 40 km of range per hour: enough to refill an average daily drive overnight several times over.

Do I need approval from the grid operator?

Not if the charger fits within the power already approved for your connection, which is the case in most homes thanks to load balancing. If you do need more power, we tell you in the quote and explain the next steps.

Will the charger work with my car?

Yes. The Easee Max has a Type 2 socket, the standard for AC charging on every electric car and plug-in hybrid sold in Europe.

Can the charger go outside?

Yes. It can be mounted indoors, in a garage or under a carport, or outdoors on a wall.

How long does installation take?

Usually one day. If the cable has to run a long way or through a trench, we tell you in the quote.

What is a prepared site?

A site where the supply cable and the protection for the charger are already in place, so we only mount, connect and set up the charger. Most homes need the cable run as well, and that is included in your quote.

Send four photos. We take care of the rest.

You get a firm price within one working day, with no site visit needed.
