EV charger at an apartment block: what to know

If you have a parking space at your block and can run a cable from your own home, after the meter and breaker panel, the installation works the same as at a house.

When installation is simple

  • →The parking space is close to your home

When to talk to the owners’ association

If the cable route passes through common areas such as the stairwell, basement or facade, or the parking space is on common land, talk to the building administrator or owners’ association first and get their agreement.

Several chargers in one car park

For blocks where several owners want chargers, we build a shared supply with consumption recorded separately for each owner. The chargers balance automatically between them so the existing supply is never exceeded.
